We are buying very keenly and pricing very aggressively so anybody buying in this climate is getting the best possible deal.
It seems to be working as we are turning over a decent amount of cars.
Having said all that there is still not not an abundant supply of good cars available for us to buy especially as we are only buying the best available. We are seeing some terrible examples that look great value on the face of it but closer inspection in our workshops are highlighting some future problems.
These cars tend to up on dealers forecourts who really do not know what they are selling. They stick a generic warranty on it that is not worth the paper it is printed on and sell it on to an unsuspecting buyer who thinks he is getting a bargain.
We see them a few months later in our workshops needing thousands spent on them and the warranty companies do not want to know.
Really the only way to buy peace of mind is by buying from one of the good recognized specialist Porsche only dealers who know what they are doing.
Don`t get me wrong we sometimes make a ricket but at least we fix the problem in our own workshops under our warranty.
